Mr. Brainwash

Thierry Guetta, a.k.a. Mr. Brainwash became famous as an amateur filmmaker in the 2000s. His fame grew steadily over the next decade, culminating in the fact that he appeared in 2010 in the Oscar-nominated documentary "Exit Through the Gift Shop" by street artist Banksy. In the film he is portrayed as direct and insolent.

And where does its name come from? In his own words, the name came about as follows: “If you watch TV, if you buy clothes, if you come to a bar or a club, or really don't care what you do, why are you doing this? Everything is kind of brainwashed and I took all brands and distorted their intentions. I couldn't use my own name for that, so I remembered and decided to use Mr. Brainwash for me. ”

Nowadays he lives in LA and has left puzzling confusions about himself, although his popularity is undeniable. He designed works of art for legends such as Madonna, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Coca-Cola and continues to be responsible for sensational, chaotic pop culture works of art.
